About Dukinfield Energy Limited

A specialist renewable energy developer navigating Zambia's full government process — from land and permits to PPA and financing readiness.

Zambia's Renewable Energy Development Specialist

Dukinfield Energy Limited is a Zambian registered project development company. Our core mission is to develop renewable energy projects from scratch to shovel-ready status — navigating the complex Zambian government approval, regulatory and procurement landscape on behalf of our investors and partners.

Our team brings diverse, on-the-ground experience developing infrastructure projects in Zambia. We understand the regulatory environment, the relevant government ministries, the ZESCO contracting process, traditional land tenure, and the practical requirements to get a project to financial close.

We do not simply identify sites — we take projects through every step of the development cycle, ensuring that when we present an opportunity to investors, it is fully compliant, fully documented, and ready to build.

Why the Development Process is the Competitive Moat

Navigating the Zambian government approval process requires persistent, multi-year engagement across the Ministry of Energy, ZESCO, ERB, ZEMA, local government, and Traditional Authorities. Errors, omissions or missteps at any stage can set a project back by years.

Dukinfield's team has built the relationships, institutional knowledge and procedural expertise to execute this process efficiently and completely. The result — a project with all permits, agreements and clearances in place — represents a development asset that takes years and significant capital to replicate.

For investors, this means acquiring a project where regulatory, permitting and offtake risk have already been substantially resolved.
